Eligibility Criteria

To avail of the scheme, students must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Must be a permanent resident of Delhi.
2. Enrolled in Delhi Government schools.
3. Studying in:
   • Class 9th (Science stream)
   • Class 11th (Science stream)

Required Documents

Students must submit the following documents to qualify for the scheme:

• Residence proof of Delhi
• Aadhaar card (student and parent)
• Previous year examination marksheet
• CET scorecard
• School ID card
• Passport-sized photograph

Selection Process

1. Common Entrance Test (CET):

1. • Class 9th: Syllabus based on Class 8th (Physics, Chemistry, Math/Biology).
   • Class 11th: Syllabus based on Class 10th (Physics, Chemistry, Math/Biology).
   • Exam Structure:
     • 75 questions, 4 marks each (total 300 marks).
     • Negative marking: -1 mark for each wrong answer.
     • Duration: 2 hours.

2. Merit-Based Selection:

1. • Separate merit lists for Class 9th and Class 11th students.
   • Selected students will attend a counselling session at empanelled institutes.

3. Coaching Allotment:

1. • Students who clear the CET will be assigned to coaching institutes for JEE or NEET preparation.
   • The Department of Education will directly pay the course fees to the institutes.

How to Apply

Registration Process

1. Students do not need to register themselves.
2. The Head of School will handle the registration through the Delhi Department of Education’s portal using the school login credentials.
3. Admit Cards:

1. • Issued by the Department of Education.
   • Heads of schools distribute the admit cards to students after pasting and attesting the student’s photograph.

4. Examination Day:

1. • Students must appear at the allotted centre as per the details on the admit card.

5. Counselling Session:

1. • Conducted by empanelled institutes for selected students.
