Introduction

The Delhi Spoken English Course Scheme is a flagship program launched by the Delhi Government on July 23, 2022, under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. This initiative aims to address the challenges faced by youth who struggle with English fluency, impacting their confidence and opportunities.

• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Age: 16 to 35 years
  • Resident of Delhi
  • Passed at least Class 8 with English as a subject
• Course Features:
  • Duration: 3 to 4 months
  • Mode: Physical classes with interactive teaching methods
  • Certification: Globally accepted certificate awarded by Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University and Cambridge University Press & Assessment India Private Limited

Eligibility Conditions

• Age Group: 16 to 35 years
• Residency: Must be a resident of NCT Delhi
• Education: Passed Class 8 with English as a subject

Application Fees

• Fee: Rs. 950 (Refundable upon 80% attendance and successful completion)
• EWS Applicants: Exempted from fees

Required Documents

• ID Proof: Aadhar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, etc.
• Educational Details: Class 8 and 10 academic records
• EWS Applicants: Family income and asset certificates

Batch Timings

How to Apply

1. Visit the DSEU Web Portal.
2. Register: Fill out details like name, mobile number, email, DOB, and set a password.
3. Confirm Registration: Verify mobile number via OTP.
4. Login: Use registered mobile and password.
5. Fill Application Form: Provide personal, educational, and contact details.
6. Upload Documents: Photo, signature, and ID proof.
7. Select Centers: Choose three preferred centers for coaching.
8. Pay Application Fee: Rs. 950/- (Refundable if criteria are met).
9. Submit Application: Receive confirmation and await center allotment.

• Application fees refunded within 4-6 weeks post-completion.

Important Notes

• Application Deadline: 20-08-2022 (11:59 PM)
• Applicants will receive center allotment details via SMS or email.
• Submit a hard copy of the application with valid ID proof on the first day of class.
• Fees are forfeited if attendance is below 80% or the course is left midway.
